Chemistry in the Kitchen

Class Overview:

We will be covering the cooking labs and a few of the other fun activities related to Chemistry. This class will count as almost ½ credit of high school Chemistry. We will be in the classroom approximately 48 hours. You will need to fill in the remaining 12 hours to get the complete ½ credit. Please note this is only the labs, I will do some basic chemistry teaching, however, it will be very surface so we can focus on doing the projects.

I will be using Guest Hollow’s Chemistry in the Kitchen as a guideline to this class. To get a complete Chemistry credit, you can do the whole Guest Hollow Chemistry in the Kitchen at home as well and it will follow along with what we are doing. You can also just do whatever Chemistry you’d like.
