About the event
Think Operation Christmas Child, but local!
We're packing shoeboxes for ND kids in need. THEA will provide the shoeboxes. You provide the gifts and treats. Our goal is to pack and send 40 boxes to Solen for Christmas gifts.
At Homeschool Huddle on December 6, we will pack the boxes, wrap and label them.
You can choose to bring a dozen of 1 item to be packed, or just the items for the box you wish to pack specifically, or both.
Some ideas for items to include: crayons, colored pencils, school supplies, socks, gloves, winter hats, lip balm, hand sanitizer, small toys, small games, candy, gum, small books, sunglasses, water bottle, fidgets, hair ties, puzzles, craft kits, baby toys, board books, baby socks, and other baby need items.
Items can be gender neutral or gender specific. We'll pack the boxes then wrap them up and if necessary label them for…
