Craft Club

In this club we will learn crafting skills and create crafting items such as tie blankets, candle making, scrapbook pages, painting birdhouses etc. We will use varied materials such as fleece fabric, unfinished wood, wax shavings/melted wax, acrylic paint, and yarn. Each class will be 2hrs in length, the first 30minutes will be instruction and the rest of the time will be crafting. I will also be reading stories that coincide with the crafts we are making. Students will be dropped off by 1pm and need to be picked up by 3pm. I will have a teen helper as well. Some projects can be finished at home. The class fee is $75 per month with a $100 supply fee for each student.

 

Club will be held every Thursday unless otherwise specified. Notice of class being canceled or postponed will be given as soon as possible. Should class be canceled student will receive partial reimbursement and the craft will then be a take home craft.

 

Projects will not receive a grade, they are simply to expose the student to crafting and the different ways to craft. I want this to be a fun learning experience and not focus on a grading system. Once the student has completed a craft they can continue to use those skills for other projects.

Registration opens on the second Monday of the preceding month and closes when class is full or the first class of the month. Students must be registered for club before the first club meeting of the month. I only have room for 12 students at a time so registration is key. Registration is first come and once filled you can be put on a wait list or register for the following month.

 

I will only accept Paypal as form of payment. Payment is due at time of registration. I will invoice you for payment once I receive each child’s registration.

 

Refund/cancelation policy:

If you register and don’t show for the classes, you will not be eligible for a refund.

 

If you register and cancel up to 2 days before the first class of the month, you are eligible for a $40 refund.
