About the event
For 4th graders (ages 9-11) and their adult chaperone.
Conservation Day at Dakota Zoo is designed to educate and inform students about wildlife and natural resource conservation in North Dakota. There are informational booths, hands-on activities, and special presentations. The zoo will
also be open for students to explore with a North Dakota Native Animal Species Scavenger Hunt.
We need 1-2 parents to be the "lead" parent on this trip. That just means being the point-of-contact that day for the Zoo and our group. Without this volunteer, we won't be able to participate. If you can help, please indicate this on registration.
Also, since this is limited to a certain age group, we suggest partnering with other parents for childcare. One parent stay at the playground with the non-4th graders while the other parent takes the 4th graders or something like that. If you need help connecting with other parents,…
